Tristemente os anunciamos que el joven guitarrista de jazz britanico Ronny Jordan  falleció el pasado 13 de enero a los 51 años por causas desconocidas.Jordan empezó a tocar la guitarra a los 7 años y tenia ya su primera banda a los 13.Mas tarde empezó a tocar profesionalmente en los circulos jazz de Londres su ciudad natal.Sus influencias estaban marcadas por los clásicos del jazz, West Montgomery,George Benson...etc aunque fué integrando en los 90 el r&b,hip hop o el acid jazz reflejado en  su  exitoso primer single "After Hours".Ronny Jordan grabó su primer álbum The Antidote(1992)que le lanzó a la fama con aquella canción magnifica "So What"superversión del tema de Miles Davis.Le siguieron ocho más;The Quiet Revolution(1993),Light To Dark(1996),A Brighter Day(2000)[nominado a los grammy y top 10 en US],Off The Record(2001),At Last(2003),After 8(2004) y The Rough And The Smooth(2009).Por cierto también colaboró con el rapero Guru en el famoso Guru's Jazzmataz Vol.1.(1993)con un gran tema" No Time To Play "
